Todd graduated from Michigan City Rogers High School in 1979, and Valparaiso University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, majoring in accounting.

Todd began his professional career with Ed Wainscott on February 2, 1987, and has 37 years of experience in the areas of  tax, accounting, financial reporting and advisory services.

Todd is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society.

Todd has been married to his wife Karen for 41 years, and resides in Mill Creek. Indiana.  He has three children and seven grandchildren.  His twin sons are both accountants and his daughter is taking time off from her previous role as an HR manager to be a stay at home Mom.

Tom graduated from John Glenn High School (Walkerton) in 1978, and Indiana University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, majoring in accounting.

Tom began his professional career working for a CPA firm in Plymouth, Indiana and has worked with Ed Wainscott since August, 1983. Tom has 41 years of experience in the areas of tax, accounting, financial reporting and advisory services.

Tom has a special interest in assisting farm and agricultural businesses. He grew up on a farm and currently operates a small grain and livestock farm with one of his sons.

Tom is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society.

Tom has been married to his wife Sheri for 40 years, and resides in Walkerton, Indiana. He has two sons and four grandchildren. One son is involved in the family farm operation and operates his own insurance agency. His other son is a CPA and is now working for the firm.

Ed grew up in LaPorte Indiana, and went on to study Accounting at Ball State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1974.  While at Ball State University, Ed received various recognitions and awards.  He passed the Uniform CPA exam during his Senior year at Ball State.

In 1978, he established the firm of Edward J. Wainscott, CPA and practiced in that capacity until 2021, when the CPA firm of Whittler & Hesters CPA Group, PC took over the practice.

Ed provides a wide range of tax, accounting and advisory services to the clients of the firm.  Ed is also an Investment Representative of Avantax Investment Services^SM, Member FINRA,SIPC, and holds various securities and insurance licenses.

Ed is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Indiana CPA Society.  Ed has served on various committees for the Indiana CPA Society as well as various not for profit organizations.

Ed has been married for 52 years to his wife Diane, and continues to reside in LaPorte, Indiana.  Ed has two children and five grandchildren, all whom reside in Illinois.

Jordan grew up in Walkerton, Indiana and graduated from John Glenn High School in 2011. He went on to study Accounting and Business Management at Purdue University where he received his Bachelor of Science in 2014.

Jordan began his professional career working for a CPA firm in South Bend, where he received 5 years of experience in the areas of individual and business tax, accounting, auditing, and financial reporting. He then went on to join the American Technology Components, Inc.’s team in 2020 as the Controller, and then circled back to Public Accounting in January 2022 where he started at Whittler & Hesters CPA Group.

Jordan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society.

Jordan is the son of Tom and resides in Walkerton, Indiana. He and his wife Sarah, who is also an accountant have been married for a year and a half and have one child.

Greg grew up in Mill Creek, Indiana and graduated from La Porte High School in 2001. He went on to study Accounting and Information Technology at Ball State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in 2006.

Greg began his professional career working for a CPA firm in La Porte, where he received 12 years of experience in the areas of individual and business tax, accounting, auditing, and financial reporting. He then went on to join the Cooreman Real Estate Group, Inc.’s team in 2019 as the Controller where he managed four separate entities including a large scale residential home building company. After working for the firm on a part time basis Greg made the decision to return to public accounting and joined Whittler & Hesters CPA Group full time in February 2023.

Greg was a past member and treasurer of the Kiwanis Club of La Porte.

Greg is the son of Todd and resides in New Carlisle, Indiana with his wife of 11 years and two children.

Richard graduated from Manchester College in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics degree, majoring in accounting and economics.

Richard began his professional career with Arthur Andersen in 1963 and opened his own practice in Walkerton, Indiana in 1992.

Richard is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Indiana CPA Society, the National Society of Accountants and the Indiana Society of Accountants. He also serves on the Walkerton Chamber of Commerce, Walkerton Ambulance Board of Directors, and Polk Township Trustee Board.

Richard specializes in farm returns and small business. He also operates a small grain and livestock farm.

Richard has been married to his wife Linda for 63 years. He has one son and one daughter, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Sue graduated from La Porte High School in 1981 and joined the team of Edward J. Wainscott, CPA in October of 2019, coming to us from another local accounting firm.

Sue has experience in payroll processing, payroll tax processing, accounts payable, receivables and other administrative accounting duties.

Sue has been married to her husband John for 35 years and resides in La Porte, Indiana. She has two daughters; her oldest daughter is a kindergarten teacher for the La Porte Community School Corporation; her youngest is a school bus driver for the La Porte Community School Corporation.

She has one grandchild and a second on the way.

Dorothy graduated from Plymouth High School in 1974 and Ancilla College in 1986 with an Associates degree in Business Administration, majoring in accounting.

Dorothy earned her Registered Tax Preparer Certificate from the Internal Revenue Service in 2012 and began her career with Richard L Parker CPA in 1998, and has 25 years of experience in tax, accounting, payroll and office management.

Dorothy has been married for 48 years and resides outside of Walkerton, Indiana. She has two children and three grandchildren.
